![]() ![]() when you put the steamer down on a flat surface. The Conair ExtremeSteam has a "smart sensor" safety feature that immediately stops the flow of steam. This prevents possible burns from steam, and it halts steam from flowing when it’s not being used, which ultimately means you won’t have to refill the water reservoir prematurely. This means that, when activated, you can put the steamer down on a flat surface and it immediately stops the flow of steam. ![]() While several other models I tested had an automatic shut-off feature, the Conair ExtremeSteam was unique because it has what the company calls a “smart sensor” safety feature. Standout Safety And Convenient Bonus Accessories One complaint about this model: At 3.1 pounds and 13 inches tall, it was the heaviest and tallest handheld I tested, and it might feel bulky in hand after just a few minutes. The four settings-low, mid, high and turbo-are clearly lit by LEDs on the model’s handle, and the steam button allows you to manually start and stop the flow of steam. One key standout of this model is that after the water reservoir was in place, there was no leaking at any point, which is my common complaint with other models. Just note that the water reservoir pops in and out of place with some wiggling back and forth, and the inlet cover to fill the reservoir is relatively small, so it requires concentration to fill. Some steamer models require a steep learning curve with an instruction manual, but this model was easy and intuitive to use. On both cotton and linen shirts, I was able to easily press out the collars, cuffs and deeper-set wrinkles with this steamer, eliminating the need to make a trip to the dry cleaner. “Steamers that also have an ironing plate are great for getting out stubborn wrinkles, although you’re still not going to get a hard press,” says Patric Richardson, host of The Laundry Guy on Discovery+ and author of Laundry Love: Finding Joy in a Common Chore. While the steam performance of this model is unparalleled, its extra-large 5.5 x 3.25 inch aluminum soleplate allows the steamer to double as an iron-with or without steam-for extra smoothing power. And with linen, a notoriously wrinkle-prone fabric, the Conair Turbo ExtremeSteam impressively eliminated wrinkles on the turbo setting after just one pass. With a wool fabric, this steamer made quick work of wrinkles after just two passes. When tested on cotton, the strength of the steam caused wrinkles to fall away after just one or two passes, and it didn’t require any tugging or pulling of the fabric, which is typically required with cotton. This model’s hot, consistently steady steam spray didn’t spit or leave behind any water stains, which can sometimes be a problem with other steamers on silk. On silk, the Conair ExtremeSteam easily removed wrinkles after just one pass. I tested the steamer on four different fabrics: silk, cotton, wool and linen. It put out 10 minutes of continuous steam, which allowed for steaming multiple garments without having to refill the 8.5-ounce water reservoir. In my testing, it heated to the high setting in just 9 seconds, which was 20 seconds faster than other steamers I tested. It has four steam settings illuminated on the handle of the iron, starting at low for delicate fabrics, all the way up to turbo, for things like heavier sweaters or jackets. The Conair ExtremeSteam is the high-performing answer to these shortcomings. They lazily puff out lukewarm air, dribble hot water onto the floor or startlingly shoot out hot steam at random intervals. ![]() Many of us have steamers that fall woefully short of excellence. ![]()

![]() ![]() Shiv’s response: “Sure.” In a show where no one means what they say, and everyone shouts about everything, their silent hand holding said the most. After a long overdue, fraught conversation about their separation, they decide to move on. The premiere ends on two highs, provided by a pair of quieter emotional notes. With an ending in sight, it’s a neat suggestion of closure, if not one that rings especially true just yet. It’s not a total pivot to frame them as the most stupid beings alive, and it’s certainly what the writers have decided to do. Kendall is a delusional loose cannon, Shiv is at least 25% less intelligent than she believes herself to be, Roman sends dick pics to his dad. ![]() This generation of Roys has always been inept. There’s a certain pleasure in screwing their dad over (successfully, for once), but have they recklessly overpaid – to borrow Roman’s parlance, an old lady for her newspapers? It seems like their pride and paternal resentment will be their downfall. It’s not clear as yet just how much of a Pyrrhic victory this is. There is a lot of back and forth, but the Pierces eventually go for the offer of 10 (billion, that is). Kendall’s assertion that they won’t screw her brands like Logan helps, but money is the real sweetener. At first, she thanks the kids for flying out, but says she already has a buyer. Nan is an astute creation we don’t see any of the overt beastliness of Logan, but she’s still hungry, and willing to manipulate everyone around her. They fly out to meet the Pierces, and encounter some mind games with matriarch Nan (Cherry Jones) in a home which is perfectly casual and likely costs thousands to maintain. None of the Roy children have the vision to create anything truly new, but they can recognise the prestige. Taking over a media company with an established legacy seems like a safer bet, at least to Shiv and Kendall. Shiv heard from the now-estranged Tom (Matthew MacFadyen) because he had drinks with Naomi Pierce (a wonderful Annabelle Dexter-Jones) who is now Kendall’s ex. Logan, in the middle of his sad birthday party, is hoping to close in on a deal, one that was raised and thwarted in the second season. Making jokes about new media, and those who brand and back new media, is shooting-fish-in-a-barrel easy, but it doesn’t really matter because soon they pivot to another lead: the acquisition of PGM, the media empire owned by the frosty, WASPy Pierces. Kendall describes it as “Substack meets Masterclass meets The Economist meets The New Yorker” (perhaps the least appealing assemblage of descriptors ever). We open, mid-brainstorm, as they argue about their new media venture, perfectly named The Hundred. After last season’s failed attempt to oust their father from Waystar Royco, the children are scrambling. Succession kicks off this season, its main, murky divide between Logan and his children, Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Roman (Kieran Culkin) and Shiv (Sarah Snook). And if you’re into it, it’s a pretty good summary of this show’s main vibe: all the characters exert their power over one another to form a shifting, vicious market. If you’ve made it to Season 4 – Season 3’s finale attracted a record-high of 1.7 million viewers in the US – then chances are you’re into it. It’s also a good test for how much Succession you can take: you either love these fanciful diversions, or you don’t. I’m not sure he always believes what he says, but he sure as hell makes everyone else believe it. It is a classic Logan Roy ramble: a little highfalutin, and you could probably poke holes in it, but it makes sense, because Logan has conviction. He is 100ft tall, other people are pygmies. They are economic units, according to the media founder, as beleaguered as he is indefatigable. ![]() “What are people?” Logan Roy (Brian Cox) asks his bodyguard, Colin, late night at a restaurant, halfway through the first episode of Succession’s new and final season. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SKU: PGIFTSMWBT103 Category: Water Bottles Tags: Promotional Gifts, Promotional Products, Corporate Gifts, Corporate Gifting, Promotional Gifting, Branded Gifting, Company Gifting, Bulk Travel Corporate Gifts Supplier, Branded Travel Corporate Gifts Supplier, Travel Corporate Gifts, Travel Corporate Gifts range, Company Travel Corporate Gifts, Travel Corporate Gifts For Employees, Bulk Travel Promotional Gifting Supplier, Branded Travel Promotional Gifting Supplier, Travel Promotional Gifting, Bulk Water Bottles Corporate Gifts Supplier, Branded Water Bottles Corporate Gifts Supplier, Water Bottles Corporate Gifts, Water Bottles Corporate Gifts range, Company Water Bottles Corporate Gifts, Water Bottles Corporate Gifts For Employees, Bulk Water Bottles Promotional Gifting Supplier, Branded Water Bottles Promotional Gifting Supplier, Water Bottles Promotional Gifting, Water Bottles Promotional Gifting range, Company Water Bottles Promotional Gifting, Water Bottles Promotional Gifting For Employees, Bulk Water Bottles Promotional Products Supplier, Branded Water Bottles Promotional Products Supplier, Water Bottles Promotional Products, Water Bottles Promotional Products range, Company Water Bottles Promotional Products, Water Bottles Promotional Products For Employees, Water Bottles Promotional Gifts, Branded Water Bottles, Bulk Water Bottles Supplier ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Can be set in-game (e.g., after a cutscene using normal actors) by setting the actor's state to MakeSneakable via ACS.Īctor will remain at its spawn location until the player is within 256 units. ![]() ![]() I won’t spoil the ending but it is an epic little story and the visuals and atmosphere are absolutely incredible. It tells the story of the battle for Cadia – a world that is keeping the forces of Chaos at bay. Instead of focusing on gameplay it sets the scene for the main campaign and gives players an introduction in to the crazy game-world you are about to enter. It is light on actual gameplay but it does teach you the basics. The PrologueīGA2’s prologue is hands down the best tutorial/prologue I have ever experienced. If you can’t find a play style you like then I will be very surprised! The skirmishes are only the tip of the iceberg though, the campaigns really make it. For more diverse play-styles there are the ram-happy Orks, the speedy Eldar and the devouring Tryanids. I’m a big fan of the Imperials who have the best all-round fleet but don’t excel in any one thing. If you just want to skirmish against the computer or other players, there are so many factions and options to choose from that you are spoilt for choice. Watching the video you will see we use Warp Jumps, tricks from the Eldar to move fast, ramming speed, full burn of the engines to move faster, Nova Cannons with immense power, Imperial ships firing broadside, boarding parties, void torpedoes, escort vessels, massive explosions, crew mutinies, you name it from the novel’s descriptions of void warfare in the 41st millennium and chances are this game has it! I highly recommend this game to all fans of the Warhammer 40k universe. In a nutshell BGA2 (to abbreviate it) is space ships kicking the hell out of each other in the lore-rich 40k universe. Available on Steam for less than $30 this game is a must play for anyone who has ever wanted to experience the void warfare as it’s described in the numerous 40k novels. The campaign only supports a few, but in multiplayer your chances to play the full panoply of factions is present. ![]() With Imperial Navy, Mechanicus, Adeptus Astartes, Eldar, Dark Eldar, Necrons, Orks, Tyranids, Chaos, and Tau all available for you to pick from the multiplayer is the best way to experience using those factions. You’ll see we spend a decent amount of time making custom fleets and trying out the different factions and types of ships. In the video above I play several multiplayer matchups with fellow #REKT 40k teammate Jeff Poole. Which makes the multiplayer aspect of this game the best feature! While I enjoy the more macro management aspects of the campaign map, it’s really controlling your fleets in void warfare against other ships that’s the best part of the game in my opinion. In my opinion, the game is the most fun when you’re battling. Just like in the Total War: Warhammer Fantasy games. Once a battle is joined you go into micromanagement of the fleets involved in the battle. ![]() You move your fleets to attack systems that aren’t yet under your control, or you move them to defend your systems that are under threat of imminent attack. There is a lot of macro management in the campaign itself and building different fleets is probably my favorite part. Your turn in the campaign begins on the main map of whatever sector you’re fighting over and you can upgrade your systems to produce better quality ships, add ships to fleets, or create new fleets. BFG2 follows suit and the gameplay will feel very familiar to anyone who has played Total War: Warhammer Fantasy or the similar Total War style games. ![]() ![]() Mostly I just feared running out.Įven Outlast 2’s occasional puzzles, the most traditional staple in the survival horror genre, feel vital to your progress rather than busywork to keep you occupied. Batteries for your camera – Outlast 2’s most vital resource – are few and far enough between to be believable, but not to a crippling extent, as I was only without a handful of times. Bloody handprints indicate that someone has crawled up a ledge before you, for example, but you have to look hard to spot them. Overall, traditional video game elements in Outlast 2 have been kept to a minimum, which kindles the minute-to-minute sense that you’re surviving by your own scared wits with little to help you along the way. Here, fires, dim lamp-posts, and flickering fluorescent bulbs mark the way, but never obviously enough to dim your panic. You’re armed only with your camcorder’s battery-reliant night vision mode to make your way through the omnipresent darkness, and because you spend most of your time being chased at a clip you have to rely on the most basic of visual signals to stay on the right path. ![]() Much of this comes down to Outlast 2’s use of lighting. Developer Red Barrels has created a world where linearity exists but is deceptive, where each escape feels skin-of-your-teeth frantic thanks to smart world building. I felt constantly disorientated while blindly running to a half-glimpsed place of safety, and while this might look like bad game design on paper, it’s effective in practice when the goal is to create a sense of desperation. With multiple labyrinthian structures and outdoor environments like tall grass and rivers to hide in, it’s easier to simply run from enemies, but it’s also harder to see them coming. It’s a lot more open than the original, which adds to an authentic horror experience. Outlast 2 is deep South horror, but without the trappings of domesticity we saw in Resident Evil 7 Supai is untamed cornfields, dilapidated shacks, and – go figure – gory remnants of unspeakable religious rites. Outlast 2 benefits from ditching the somewhat tired mental asylum setting of the original and travelling the less-trodden road of the Sonoran Desert, where protagonist Blake Langermann is searching for his wife Lynn after crash landing in the cult-ridden Supai region during an investigative journalism assignment. ![]() The ending, however, stayed with me for days. While it suffers from a couple of pacing problems and some finicky navigation issues, its careful - and sadistic - manipulation of my fight-or-flight reflex had me experiencing an overwhelming sense of dread throughout, which abated only once the credits were rolling. Not for the faint of heart, Outlast 2’s relentless scares, unforgiving monsters, and provocative meditations on faith are an anxiety-inducing but cathartic horror experience. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sometime after Andross was defeated, Oikonny left Star Wolf, and planned to avenge his uncle's death.
